Oprah Winfrey launched her new TV network OWN (The Oprah Winfrey Network) and premiered her new series Master Class with Jay-Z as her first feature. I have a video excerpt of the show, take a look.
I think Master Class is a brilliant show, not just because it’s got Jay-Z on it, but because it’s not a over-glorified commercial on Jigga. You can take pieces of it and see if you relate to his upbringing, outlook on life, and growth and maturity outside of the rap career.
The episode focused on Jay’s childhood, his come up, his formula of writing music and everything else in between.
