Big Al is a Chicago native and Bay Area transplant. His radio career started as host of the late night show, later moving to Mid-days, then Afternoon Drive, taking all to #1 in the market. Humorous, charming and full of wit, Big Al possesses an unadulterated love of music through which he is able to connect to his audience. It is because of this connection that people were not satisfied with only hearing him; they want to see him, up close and personal, with numerous TV appearances events under his belt.
Big Al currently serves as a host/emcee for a wide variety of concerts and charity events, with artist line-ups including the likes of Nelly, Eminem, Ludacris, Keri Hilson, Xzibit , Bow-Wow, AKON, Talib Kweli, Missy Elliot, Flo-Rida, Brian McKnight, Ginuwine, Mos Def, K-Ci & Jo-Jo, Alicia Keys, Dwele, Goapele, and many more.
Big Al is also currently a TV cast member, contributor and announcer for the 3-time Emmy Award winning, nationally syndicated movie review show “Mark At The Movies,” starring Mark S. Allen, where Big Al interviews Hollywood’s top talent, including actors Catherine Zeta-Jones, Josh Duhamel, Jude Law, Kristen Stewart, Jamie Bell, Nick Frost, and directors Joe Carnahan and Steven Spielberg.
