Mariah Carey will no longer be appearing in Tyler Perry’s next film.
“People” magazine is reporting that the singer has pulled out of “For Colored Girls Who Have Considered Suicide When the Rainbow is Enuf.” Filming was scheduled to begin next month. It has been rumored that Carey and husband Nick Cannon are expecting their first child, but Carey’s spokeswoman would not confirm the speculation. Cindi Berger tells “People,” quote, “I’m not at liberty to discuss her personal life at this time.”
Cannon previously discussed their desire to have a child saying, quote, “We’re going to do it, and when we do it we’re going to let you all know.”
“For Colored Girls Who Have Considered Suicide When the Rainbow is Enuf” will star Whoopi Goldberg, Janet Jackson, and Kerry Washington. The film is scheduled to premiere on January 14th, 2011.
