It looks like Gucci Mane and Waka Flocka Flame are looking to take their everyday
drama antics and grind in the music biz to the small screen.
Yep, they’re shopping for a reality TV deal…
The Atlanta rappers are reportedly shopping their own reality show to various networks, in which they would allow cameras into their everyday lives — from the studio and stage to parties and family life.
Gucci told RumorFix recently that he and Waka have a certain image, due to their explicit lyrics, and wanna change that by exposing their “real” lives on TV.
“We show everyday life. What we get into in studio and at our shows. We just ordinary people with a crazy Rock ‘N’ Roll lifestyle,” Gucci said. “Because of the music we make, people think that’s what we do all the time — but we got a real family life. We got heart. We do a lot of things for the community and we love each other.”
The rapper went on to say that fans will probably laugh a lot more than they think when the show is finalized.
“I think they’ll get a laugh more than anything. I’m not serious all the time. People think we are thugs because of our music,” said Gucci.
The show will also feature Waka’s mother and manager Debra Atney, and is expected to air on BET.
