Something you many NOT kow about Big Al is…I’m a William Shakespeare fan. Don’t get me wrong, I’ll watch me some Tyler Perry, but as theatre goes, it’s all about the Bard for me. Big fan of the play MacBeth (oops, can’t say that, gotta say a Scottish Play instead, bad luck I hear…). Loved Othello when Lawrence Fishburne was the title character, pre-The Matrix of course.
So you can imagine my excitement to see the trailer for a classic Shakespeare play The Tempest on film. If Shakespeare were Jay-Z, The Tempest would be his Reasonable Doubt album. The movie stars Helen Mirren (as Prospera), Alfred Molina, Djimon Hounsou, Alan Cumming and….Russel Brand?
